Meet Lucinda

Lucinda is an angel, or she would be if I had added her wings.
However I liked the look of her without her wings so I guess she is technically a doll not an angel.  I made this wee lady a few years back, she is from An Angels Story book by Anni Downs of Hatched and Patched.

This is where she normally lives on a little shelf in the wall surrounding our fireplace, but she really felt the need for a walk outside for some photos today :-)

I have been looking at some of my other H & P projects lately as I am working on A Gardeners Journal quilt blocks.  Things are progressing pretty well with my stitchery blocks and I should hopefully catch up with most of the other Stitch A Long girls by the end of the month.   I also discovered a table runner from the Angels Story book, that has long been abandoned, as I got to the applique part and had a small brain explosion.  Perhaps I should face that particular fear head-on and JUST DO IT.  Maybe.

Anyway, I had better go now and help put up some more electric fences for the ewes, aah the joys of winter!

Catch you later.........................

Lucinda is a doll after my own heart. Well done she is just delightful. I find the problem with starting projects from books is that if your like me you flick through the pages and then before you know is another project is underway. The 'to do' pile is almost as big as the UFO pile - ho hum. Thank goodness Winter is creeping in, it gives me more time indoors to sew, tee hee.
Have fun with the fencing, there's a cold front creeping up and I had better toodle and light a fire - brrr.
hugs - Miche'le
