Happy Mothers Day.... and a block finished!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mums out there...... I hope you have all been spoiled today.  I sure have,  lots of cards and gifts made for me by the girls, and this beautiful bag that hubby and the girls gave me.  I've had my eye on it for a while, so what a lucky girl I am!

I have spent a lovely Mothers Day Sunday morning, making up the first block of A Gardener's Journal quilt.  This is Block G, and I'm pretty pleased with the final look of it.  I am never confident with my fabric choices, but now that it is together, it is pretty much what I had envisaged.

Well, the girls and I are off now to the cemetery to take some flowers to my Mum's and Nana's graves, so that should fill in the rest of Mother's Day nicely for us.  Thanks for stopping by my place, and for the kind comments that have been left, please know how much I enjoy reading your thoughts.

Till next time, take care, and happy stitching................Nicky
